STUDENT'S LIFE

From the moment a person enters in the VIST family until they graduate are surrounded by people dedicated to making VIST “home”. Our students make friends in their classes, in the dining halls, on the intramural fields and through student activities.

It's a diverse community of students at VIST, and the activities on offer are as diverse and varied too. From entertainment to extra-curricular or even religious pursuits, there's never a dull moment on campus

Every student must maintain a respectful and pleasant conduct in the Institute premises.

  • a. A student is expected to observe etiquette and politeness in all circumstances.
  • b. All students must abide by the Institute policies, rules and regulations and above all the student organization constitution.
  • c. The language used within the Institute premises should reflect the refinement and usage expected of scholars and educated persons.
  • d. Students are expected to refrain from any act of violence and other actions calculated to disrupt the work of the Institute or likely to bring the Institute into disrepute. Any student caught in the act of violence will face the Institute Disciplinary Committee or be dismissed from studies/ Institute.
  • e. At all times, the mode of communication at VIST shall be English and Kiswahili
  • f. The Institute reserves the right to exclude any student deemed indecently dressed from the Institute activities. The DRESS CODE RULE and conduct to be observed by all students of the Institute when on the Institute’s premises or when attending any official function organised by the Institute in which the Institute is involved.
