Word From The Vice Chancellor

I wish to welcome all staff and students to our new International Medical and Technological University (IMTU) website. I congratulate all of you for choosing IMTU to pursue your Education. ‘Education has no end’ and this website is another milestone at IMTU and a great opportunity for continuing e-learning for both staff and students in addition to the library and ICT laboratory.

We thank Al Mighty God that IMTU has continued working hard to implement restructuring and addressing the deficiencies raised by TCU. These deficiencies mainly included academic staff shortages and lack of governance tools. The governance tools are now complete and awaiting for approval by the IMTU Council. The staff recruitment effort to address staff shortages has been intensified and it seems it will not be a problem anymore at IMTU.

Finally, I wish to thank the Founder, Honorable, Mr. Katuri Subba Rao and all IMTU staff who have endured through the challenges faced by the University in the last five years. In spite of lack of admissions and recent transfer of our remaining students, construction of new facilities, renovation and keeping a clean and attractive campus has continued at IMTU.

With these few remarks may I welcome you all to our beautiful campus and wish you the very best.

Prof. Kagoma S. Mnyika MD, MSc, PhD
Vice Chancellor.
